The Federal Agency Task Force on Missing and Exploited Children was created in May 1995. Comprised of all Federal Agencies involved in missing and exploited children’s issues, the Task Force focuses on improving collaboration among juvenile justice partners and promoting the delivery of Federal services for parents and law enforcement, child services, and other professionals. Federal Task Force members also provide support to local and state law enforcement on various missing and exploited children’s issues. In cooperation with MECP, Task Force members have produced several resources for law enforcement, parents, and agencies that serve missing children, including: Federal Resources on Missing and Exploited Children, Special Joint Report: Federal Agency Task Force for Missing and Exploited Children, and the Law Enforcement Guide on International Parental Kidnapping.
