The Missing and Exploited Children’s Program (MECP) invites you to view November’s recorded presentation on Understanding Jurors Expectations in Child Sexual Assault Cases. Chuck Gillingham, Supervising Deputy District Attorney, Santa Clara County Office of the District Attorney, provides an overview of juror expectations for testimony and evidence in child sexual abuse cases. Mr. Gillingham uses findings from jury studies to discuss the impact of juror expectations on verdicts and provides investigators with considerations for meeting juror expectations and ultimately presenting a winning case.
